The unit works well with all pure essential oils except for the thickest (a very thick Myrrh, for example). The unit will not effectively diffuse blends which include a carrier oil, so check your labels (blends with carriers will work in our other diffusers as well). Not having a timer means you may want one to most efficiently use your oils; using an external timer gives you extra flexibility in the on/off cycling to best meet your needs. The digital timer below will work perfectly with this diffuser.

This attractive little unit is 6" diameter, 4" tall and covers about 800 square feet. Will work with thick essential oils and blends that include a carrier oil.

Ultrasonic diffusion is a cool mist process that breaks down water and oil into airborne molecules without heat. The mist is created by a small ceramic membrane vibrating at 1,600,000 times per second. The tiny movements of this membrane create a quiet and efficient Humidifying system. Cleaning is easy, simply wipe it out with a paper towel.

The moisture offered by the nebulizer makes it an excellent choice for those utilizing essential oils to support healing and relief of breathing conditions. The concentration of the aroma is a factor of the amount of essential oil added to the resevoir. We recommend adding 2 milliliters of essential oil, then adding more water as the unit runs until the aroma's potency needs replenishing.

Note: Like many ultrasonic humidifiers, the nebulizer may release a few water droplets on it's lid when set at highest output. This is normal, though we do suggest you make sure to place the unit in a location where a small amount of moisture will not do any harm.

Timers for Cold Air Fan and Nebulizing Diffusers

Digital diffuser timers provide maximum control for aromatherapy oil diffusion. A timer allows precise control over the essential oil concentration in diffused in any space. Never worry about turning it off when you leave the house, a timer will preserve those precious oils automatically. You can set a timer to diffuse essential oil into your bedroom space throughout the night. A timer helps to conserve your oil further as if a diffuser is run continuously, the 'smell sense' will get used to an aroma, detecting it less and less, requiring more essential oil for the same result.

The Digital Timer is programmable with 8 on/off settings per day, with the possibility for different settings for each day of the week. An internal battery retains the program if the unit is unplugged. Both units have heavy-duty, three prong receptacles. (Unit differs slightly than one pictured - it is smaller, with the socket still on the front. It will work even with the plug in diffuser below. We will have a new picture up shortly).

This plug-in essential oil diffuser gently warms essential oils from a replaceable cotton pad (though we find folded natural tissue paper to work well if you run out of pads). Use it to diffuse oils into any smaller space. It will not burn your oils if left on for a long time, so we've found it useful to diffuse oils throughout the night. Also wonderful for adding a pleasing aroma to rooms when traveling. May be used with the digital timer to conserve oils while not becoming accustom to an oil's aroma over time.
