Essential oils are one of nature's premier healing gifts. These delicate compounds demand great care in their production - from growing and harvesting of the plant, to distillation of the oil, to care and handling until it arrives at your doorstep. Each pure oil is made up of many, sometimes hundreds, of individual compounds, each one an important part the whole. This is why the entire essential oil making process is important - all these molecules synergize in the final pure and natural oil, creating exceptional aroma-therapeutic value. Ananda Aromatherapy delivers some of the world's most wonderful oils to you! The essential oils we offer have been researched by aromatherapy professionals to give you the best available combination of aroma, therapeutic quality and price. The quality can be noted from the first 'whiff' from the bottle - each oil has a 'completeness', indicating all it's critical components have been cared for and remain intact. We have even included some CO2 extracted oils in our collection. This is the most gentle, though most expensive, essential oil extraction method available. Our Ginger Oil, for example, is called a 'CO2 total extract' because it retains some aromatic compounds not always found in the steam distilled product of Ginger root. Our Vanilla, also a CO2 'total' is amazing, with a higher Vanillin content than many steam distilled varieties.

Prices and summaries of each therapeutic essential oil can be found in the summary listings in alphabetical order. All our oils are appropriate for diffuser use, most for topical application (almost all require proper dilution - usually around 3% - in a carrier oil), though skin sensitivity should always be tested. These are all unadulterated, completely pure oils!
